This project was created out of a deep and abiding love for the Earth and its vast and versatile environments. Showcasing different aspects of the earths surface such as oceans, mountains, animal life, plants and other organisms, Mia captures the wonder and the beauty of our planet through works of fashion based artwork.

Wide expanse of eternity,
Matter organised,
We are joint in creation.
We build her, she builds us.

Rising, growing,
Transformation of elements,
We fill space, sometimes take it,
Yet she nurtures and surrounds,
We progress, she provides.
​
She is our habitat, our world,
A mother. Always giving,
She supports our feet,
Do we realise how we depend on her?
We return to her.
